Merrigong Theatre Company is a not for profit company that operates Wollongong’s premier performing arts venues, Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and the Wollongong Town Hall. The company also commissions, produces, presents and tours professional theatre.

Located in the beautiful coastal city of Wollongong, just over an hour south of Sydney, Merrigong Theatre Company is one of Australia’s most dynamic regional performing arts companies.

Casual Chefs - join our Food & Beverage team

Casual cook or chef required for “the Social” cafe at Merrigong Theatre Company. Minimum 3 shifts per week, more during busy weeks. Day and evening shifts, week days and weekends. We can be flexible for the right person. Join our team and work with the terrific F&B staff. Great team environment.

We have a great team of people who volunteer their time on everything from ushering to assisting in our office. We also offer a few longer term roles, where people volunteer their time and gain experience in a specific area of the performing arts industry.

As part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Campaign Coordinator will deliver full service marketing and communication activities for a diverse range of Merrigong Theatre Company’s programs, and should have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects effectively. They will also contribute to a positive team and work culture.
